Downtown Franklin, Tennessee

Over the weekend I decided to get out and about and explore historic Downtown Franklin, TN. I've driven through before but never actually gotten out of the car and walked around, WOW, what a cool place! The city's slogan is "15 miles and 100 years down the road from Nashville," which is so true. Where else can you go that you are surrounded by gigantic mansions and farms with rolling lines of fences, see a shopkeeper sweeping the sidewalk with a broom, or enjoy a drink while sitting at a bistro table on the sidewalk of this busy but sleepy town? All in all if you havent been to Downtown Franklin before.. GO! It's well worth it!
